Fellow Patriots,
In 1775, the Minutemen were an organized force of Patriots which, at a moment’s notice, would mobilize to defend their communities and liberty.
Stafford County has always been in the middle of that fight. The first defender of our liberty, George Washington, grew up in Stafford County from age 6 to 19. James Hunter operated Stafford County’s Hunter Iron Works that supplied the Continental Army and Navy with muskets, swords, and other armaments.
On July 23rd, 1776 approximately 60 soldiers of the Stafford militia engaged Royal Marines who came ashore from the British warship HMS Roebuck at William Brent’s home Richlands on Widewater peninsula forcing the marines to withdraw back to their ship.
Today, Virginia is engaged in a political war to defend that same liberty and needs every single patriotic man and woman to join the Virginia Constitutional Conservatives.
This will not be an easy fight. But it wasn’t in 1775 either. As the new wave of radical anti-gun politicians, led by His Highness Lord Northam, have taken the power of government, they do so with a vengeance. And, unless you act, they will destroy the Constitution, your right to keep and bear arms, and usher in a wave of totalitarian legislation that will be very hard to repeal.
Will you answer the call to carry on this great tradition of ordinary citizens, in the midst of a great crisis, standing up to fight?
If so, I invite you to join with the Virginia Constitutional Conservatives in Stafford County to protect our liberties and hold our politicians accountable for defending our God given and Constitutionally guaranteed rights.
Our organizational meeting is on Wednesday, October 28th at 7:00pm. We will meet at the Fairfield Inn & Suites located at 2784 Jefferson Davis Highway, Stafford VA 22556. At this meeting, we will:
Hear about the current fight in Virginia from S. Chris Anders, the Executive Director of the Virginia Constitutional Conservatives.
Organize our efforts and petition to protect our Right to Keep and Bear Arms in Stafford County by demanding that Sheriff Decatur sign the Constitutional Sheriff Pledge.
Discuss leadership opportunities in the VCC Stafford Organization.
Start to plan our activities to take back Virginia in the 2021 legislative elections.
The mission of the Virginia Constitutional Conservatives (VCC) is to protect and defend the great American principles of individual liberty, constitutional government, and free markets, by means of political activity. The VCC Stafford County organization exists to expand the liberties of Virginians and strengthen the liberty movement at the grassroots level by:
Recruiting new members and developing new leaders
Advocating for constitutional, limited government within your communities
Educating, training, and mobilizing citizen-activists to drive change in all levels of government
Politics is simply a numbers game. The side with the largest number of angry voters wins. That is simply how it works. So unless you call, unless you take action, unless you leave the bleachers and get on the field, politicians will continue to rip away your right to keep and bear arms and liberty itself.
The most important thing you can do to protect liberty is simple… Show Up!
